In keeping with my "better late than never" theme, here's a peek at Mia's "4 & Fancy" Dress-Up Birthday...
As guests arrived, they were sent to the "Wardrobe Area" (that's fancy for closet) where they could pick out their favorite princess dress (and add necessary accessories like hats, scarves, jewelry and, of course, shoes) and then got to work decorating tiaras with princess stickers and jewels. The girls left with some swag (that's fancy for party favors) including a Fancy Nancy book, a yummy tiara cookie, a sassy glittered headband, and a hot pink frame to hold the fancy picture of them taken during the party. Ooh La La!
LOVE it! Girls parties are soooo much fun to plan! I love fancy cookies as part of the goodie bag - we have even done cookie mix, frosting, a theme-based cookie cutter and a "finished" cookie as the favor before. Your parties look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love the concept for the invitation. Mia looks like such a grown-up girl. She is very lucky that her mama can throw a pretty fabulous party.
ReplyDeleteHi there! I hopped on over through Simply Creative Insanity...and I just wanted to say that I LOVE this party! It looks like everyone had fun, and your daughter is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much guys...we did have a lot of fun! Fancy Nancy was a less "Disney princess" way to hit my 4 year old's request for dress up and tiaras...and then you can throw in a reading of your fave Fancy Nancy book if there's time at the party!
